Size Guide
All our posters come in four standard sizes. Here's exactly what you're getting, and what each one is good for.
| Size | Inches | Centimeters | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| A4 | 8.3" × 11.7" | 21 × 29.7 cm | Desks, shelves, small gallery walls, gifts |
| A3 | 11.7" × 16.5" | 29.7 × 42 cm | The most popular size — works above a desk or bed |
| A2 | 16.5" × 23.4" | 42 × 59.4 cm | A real statement piece on its own wall |
| A1 | 23.4" × 33.1" | 59.4 × 84.1 cm | Large empty walls, living rooms, studios |
Which size should I pick?
A quick rule that works: measure the width of the furniture the poster will hang above, and pick a poster roughly two-thirds of that width. Above a standard desk or a twin bed, A3 is usually right. Above a couch or a queen bed, go A2 or A1.
Not sure? Cut a piece of newspaper to the dimensions above and tape it to the wall for a day. It sounds basic, but it settles the question in about ten seconds.
Building a gallery wall
Mixing sizes looks better than repeating one. A common layout: one A2 as the anchor, surrounded by three or four A4s, with about 2 inches of space between each frame.
Frames
Every size is available on its own, or with a black frame or a white chrome frame. Framed posters ship ready to hang — no trip to the framing shop, no extra measuring.
Paper
Heavy matte art paper on every size. Matte means no glare from a window or a ceiling light, which is why we use it instead of gloss.
